Fan coil units SINCLAIR
For people who want to use heat pump not only for heating but also for cooling, SINCLAIR offers fan coil units (FCU). Standard floor-heating or radiator heating is not suitable for cooling. This is because of the dew point – when temperature of the surface is under this point, water from the air condenses on this surface. This can be a problem.
On the contrary, FCU can deal with this, as they have a drip tray with connection to the drain pipe so the condensed water can be carried out of the unit to the drainage.
WALL MOUNTED: SF-51H, SF-68H, SF-85H
SF units are supplied as fans and water coils in one casing. Hot or cold water is supplied to the SF unit where it passes through the coil that either heats or cools the air which is then put back into the room.
CASSETTE: SF-08C, SF-12C, SF-16C
SF units are supplied as fans and water coils in one casing. The cassette type is supplied with condensate lift pump and back up electric heater element. Hot or cold water is supplied to the SF unit where it passes through the coil that either heats or cools the air which is then put back into the room.

Both models have intelligent control system. You can control units with wireless remote controller or wired controller – the choice is yours. With both controllers you can set running mode, temperature, fan speed and other settings.
When you set a temperature, unit will measure temperature in the room and will run until the requested temperature is reached. When the temperature is reached, the unit can switch 2-way valve or 3-way valve to prevent overheating/subcooling of the room. Control system can also switch condensate pump on, in order to prevent overfilling of the drip tray.
